Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 21 May 2026

Our commitment

SyncaVit is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards wherever possible. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

Conformance status

SyncaVit is currently in active development. We are working towards full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance. Partially conformant means that some content does not fully conform to the standard, and we are prioritising improvements accordingly.

Technical specifications

SyncaVit relies on the following technologies for conformance with WCAG 2.1:

  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • JavaScript (React / Next.js)
  • WAI-ARIA

What we have done

  • All interactive elements (buttons, links, form fields) include visible focus states for keyboard navigation.
  • Colour contrast ratios for body text meet WCAG 2.1 AA minimum (4.5:1) throughout the dark theme.
  • Form inputs are paired with descriptive labels.
  • Images that carry meaning include descriptive alt text.
  • The interface is navigable by keyboard alone.
  • Supplement and data tables include appropriate header elements (th with scope attributes).
  • Motion animations respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query.
  • Minimum touch target size of 44×44px is maintained for mobile interactions.

Known limitations

We are aware of the following areas where accessibility improvements are in progress:

  • The light theme variant has not yet been audited for contrast compliance — the dark theme is the primary tested experience.
  • Some chart components (HRV trend, sleep graphs) do not yet provide a data-table alternative for screen readers.
  • The supplement carousel on the landing page does not have a static fallback for users with motion preferences or assistive technologies.
